Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students-2025-26

The Government of Delhi has launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana’ to encourage and support meritorious students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories. This scholarship helps students from Class IX to XII studying in Delhi government and recognized schools to continue their education without financial hardship.

Objective

The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to deserving SC/ST/OBC students and promote educational excellence among economically weaker sections.

Eligible Schools

The scheme is applicable to students studying in the following schools:

• Government/Aided/Recognized Public Schools
• Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)
• National Open School
• NDMC and Delhi Cantonment Board Schools
• East, North, and South Delhi Municipal Corporation Schools

Eligibility Criteria

S.No.	Criteria	Details
1	Residence	Applicant must be a resident of Delhi (GNCTD).
2	Class	Students studying in Class IX to XII are eligible.
3	Minimum Marks	Class IX–X: Minimum 50% marks Class XI–XII: Minimum 60% marks.
4	Income Limit	Family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh per annum. However, no income limit for students who scored 75% or above.
5	Caste Certificate	Issued in the name of the student or father by SDM/Deputy Commissioner, GNCTD.
6	Repeaters	Students repeating a class are not eligible.
7	Bank Account	Bank account must be in the name of the student (Joint account allowed) and linked with Aadhaar.

Amount of Assistance

Class XI – XII	₹10,000

Application Process

2. Fill out the online application form carefully.
3. Upload all required documents.
4. Verify all details and submit the application.
5. The scholarship amount will be directly credited to the student's bank account.

Important Notes

• Ensure all uploaded documents are valid and clearly visible.
• Only residents of Delhi are eligible.
• Students repeating the same class cannot apply under this scheme.
